Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada, an Afghan American actor in the United States has been in numerous television shows. Her family fled Afghanistan and was granted asylum in US. Her birthplace was there. She was raised by her twin sisters in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada started her career in the television industry by starring in National Commercials. Ghanizada won the award for top actress at the 2004 festival of film for Laura Neri movie A Kiss on the Nose. She was the character Chiara. A few of her TV roles include How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars NUMB3RS The Wedding Bells Psych Castle and Castle. Recent roles include an appearance as a character for the character of Blood Shot, (2009) inspired by the science-fiction film Blood Shot and independent comedy You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada was first seen in the year 2008 as a in General Hospital's premiertime spinoff, General Hospital. Season 2 of Night Shift as Dr. Saira Batra a specialist in holistic medicine. In 2009, Ghanizada was Kelly a Prada salesperson on HBO's Entourage and also joined the cast of the television pilot Tough Trade from Weeds creator Jenji Kohan.
