Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is a reviewer who tackles Z-grade film typically within the martial arts or horror genre. The style is similar that of The Cinema Snob but tending toward action films that are dumb and boring, as well as a morbid enjoyment of the genre. She began her reviews at the end of 2009 and, following her rise to fame (under her old name, Obscurus-Lupa), Allison Pregler became part of Channel Awesome's family. She continued to be a member of the channel up until January 2015 after which Obscurus Lupa Presents transformed into Movie Nights. She also currently runs two podcasts on her channel, both of which cover the Charmed franchise, and they both co-host with Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. The show can be seen here and here. Her Twitter account, Tumblr page and Facebook account also have videos. Do you want to be as good as Allison? You can see her kicking ass in the role of Interpol ninja Cheetah Lee from Ninja the Mission Force. Brad Jones' film Jesus Bro! also featured her. She's also appeared on Brad Jones' series Midnight Screenings, usually reviewing terrible children's films or RiffTrax Live Shows as well occasionally adult comedy (such as Baywatch 2017, 2017). Her first review was in the middle of 2009. Her name gained lots of attention through the Channel Awesome forum before becoming part of the family. She has made numerous appearances on Channel Awesome, from Atop the Fourth Wall all the way to Phelous & the Movies. Doug Walker and Doug Walker were once members of Channel Awesome. They would often appear on episodes of Nostalgia Critic.
